Managers of “Tatneft “personnel department visited KFU

Rifdar Khamadyarov, Deputy Head of the Corporate Culture Development Department, and Evgeny Titanov, Director of Tatneft Personnel Training Department Center, visited the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of  Kazan Federal University. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the current preparations for the Regional Field Olympiad of young geologists, organized by Tatneft and Kazan Federal University under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

Andrei Teryokhin, Deputy Director of IGPT for Practices and Interaction with Employers, noted the company’s great contribution to the development of the geological olympiad movement. The students who entered the university through this movement are really well-motivated.

Career guidance is one of the priorities of the TATNEFT youth committee. Within the framework of cooperation between KFU and TATNEFT, the company regularly hosts technological days at the university, the students have practical training and internships every year, and  after graduation join the company’s team.

TATNEFT is one of the key partners of Kazan Federal University, employer-sponsored education is being practiced at the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies,   managers and specialists improve their skills at the Center for Continuing Education, in addition, fruitful joint research is conducted, the results of which are breakthrough developments and new technologies”, said Danis Nurgaliyev, the Vice-rector for Research of  KFU and the Director of IGPT.

The guests were shown the laboratories of the Institute and got information on the developments of University scientists.

“TATNEFT and Kazan University contacts have a long-standing joint history. The general director of the company Nail Ulfatovich is a member of the Regents of the University. Most of the leading specialists of our company are Kazan University graduates  and  I am very happy to state the fact that KFU has increased its educational and scientific potential,” said Rifdar Khamadyarov.

During the visit, special attention was paid to staff development. Rifdar Khamadyarov and Yevgeny Titanov visited the Center for Continuing Education, Quality Management and Marketing and the “Distance Education Project Incubator”. The issues of creating a new video content for professional training programs “Assistant Drillman “,and “Oil and gas well diagnostics operator” were considered.

“We regularly conduct on-site training for TATNEFT specialistst. So, in 2018 and 2019, we provided 4 additional professional education programs for 209 employees in Almetyevsk. I would like to note that the heads of the divisions themselves take part in the end-of-course assesment, that confirms the high level of knowledge gained during the training ”said Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director of IGPT and Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing .
