Course description:

In the practical and lecture sessions of this advanced training course, students will gain knowledge of the methods for studying carbonate rocks, in particular, lithological methods for studying oil-bearing carbonate rocks by core material, core analysis by computer tomography and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR).

The trainees will examine in detail the wellbore methods for studying carbonate reservoirs, the basic principles of geomechanical modeling, seismic methods to predict fracturing distribution, and also fractured reservoir simulation in software products.

Practical part:

  • Construction of fractured reservoir simulation models using software products.

Category of trainees:

Managers and specialists of Oil and Gas E&P Companies.
