Digitalization of oil and gas Industry discussed at CCEQM&M
The issues of the increase in productive efficiency, the ways of the conservative management of costs and oil and gas production increase in the context of rapid changes in Industry 4.0 have been discussed at the Institute of Geology and Oil and Gas Technologies.
A new professional retraining program started off at IGPT KFU specifically designed for TATNEFT employees by the Center for Continuing Education, Quality Management and Marketing. A group of nine managers and employees of the Super-Viscous Oil Production Department were delivered lectures from well-qualified university teachers and the partners of the Center. Olga Klaas, an expert in the field of strategic and advanced planning .was also invited as a lecturer.
The program participants learned about databases, mobile technologies, data visualization, blockchain technologies, digitalization in the oil and gas industry, “intelligent fields” and “intelligent wells”, the use of robots and digital technologies in personnel management, and many other characteristics of Industry 4.0.
This week 47 more participants from Cupet (Cuba), Rosneft Oil Company, Gazprom, Tatdorproekt, Tyumenigiprotruboprovod, Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt have been provided training on the programs “Seismic Interpretation “, “Modern geodesic technologies in surveys and construction” and “Advanced engineering-geological surveys and analysis of physical and mechanical properties of soils in the field and laboratory conditions”.
