Course description
At the end of this advanced training course, students will receive knowledge of the geological and geophysical basis for monitoring of super-viscous oils development and production by Thermal EOR methods as well as knowledge of the monitoring system design.
Course attendees will familiarize themselves with electrical and seismic methods of super-viscous oils development monitoring.
The course examines in detail super-viscous oils development modeling, monitoring of super-viscous oils development by laboratory methods, the use of catalysts in the development of super-viscous oils, as well as the experience of applying thermal methods for the development of super-viscous oils.
