Development and production monitoring of super-viscous oils by thermal methods
Acquisition of theoretical knowledge in the field of Thermal EOR technologies, as well as practical skills of heavy oil laboratory studies
At the end of this advanced training course, students will receive knowledge of the geological and geophysical basis for monitoring of super-viscous oils development and production by Thermal EOR methods as well as knowledge of the monitoring system design.
Course attendees will familiarize themselves with electrical and seismic methods of super-viscous oils development monitoring.
The course examines in detail super-viscous oils development modeling, monitoring of super-viscous oils development by laboratory methods, the use of catalysts in the development of super-viscous oils, as well as the experience of applying thermal methods for the development of super-viscous oils.
