Acquisition of theoretical knowledge in the field of fractured reservoirs and ways of fracturing identification, as well as practical skills of fractured reservoirs simulation modeling.
In the practical and lecture sessions of this advanced training course, students will gain knowledge of the methods for studying carbonate rocks, in particular, lithological methods for studying oil-bearing carbonate rocks by core material, core analysis by computer tomography and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR).
The trainees will examine in detail the wellbore methods for studying carbonate reservoirs, the basic principles of geomechanical modeling, seismic methods to predict fracturing distribution, and also fractured reservoir simulation in software products.
- Construction of fractured reservoir simulation models using software products.
