Acquisition of theoretical knowledge in the field of reservoir simulation, as well as practical skills of reservoir models calculation
Course description:
In the framework of this advanced training course, students will study reservoir physics and fluid properties of reservoir simulation models, as well as theoretical and practical aspects of geological modeling and well flow testing.
Most of the course is devoted to the construction of reservoir simulation models, in particular, the introduction to reservoir simulation modeling, a review of reservoir simulation softwares as well as principles of reservoir simulation modeling.
Practical part:
- Students of this course will take part in the construction of reservoir simulation models, as well as familiarize themselves with examples of reservoir simulation model history matching
