Course description:
Students will gain knowledge on the application of the proven and most effective technology for the production of high-viscosity oil and bitumen – the technology of thermal steam treatment. During the lessons, students will study all types of thermal steam treatment methods with an emphasis on the SAGD technology.
During practical classes and lectures, students will have the opportunity to get acquainted with unique equipment and technologies to optimize the use of thermal steam treatment technologies in vertical and horizontal wells.
