Studies of carbonate reservoirs: sedimentology and secondary changes
The course examines the sedimentology of the carbonate reservoirs, the formation of reservoir properties, methods of study, secondary changes in carbonate rocks
This program is designed for professionals working with carbonate reservoirs. The course examines the sedimentology of the formation of these reservoirs, the formation of reservoir properties, methods of study, as well as secondary changes in carbonate rocks, which have a great impact on oil and gas production. The program also considers geophysical methods for well survey and seismic exploration in the study of carbonate reservoirs.
As part of the course, students will have practical work on the analysis of carbonate rocks: core, well loggs and seismic data
