KFU and Microsoft discussed new joint projects
Anna Senyukova, educational institutions relationship manager of the Russian representative office of Microsoft, visited Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University.
The guest got acquainted with the capabilities of IGPT, its facilities and resources and distance education programs that make it possible to create content for online training. During the meeting with Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director for Marketing of IGPT of KFU and Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing, Sultan Nurutdinov, Deputy director for Information systems of the Engineering Center for Telecommunications and Information Systems of KFU and Ayrat Yarullin, the lead engineer of REC “TRIZ Modeling,” possible joint projects were discussed. The topics covered include educational sphere, creating a special application software product to automate the process of interaction with educational services clients, as well as optimization of works in the framework of research projects.
Ildus Chukmarov told Anna Senyukova about continuing education programs implemented with the use of distance technologies, the system of auto-generation of courses and the digital landscape design of the university’s structural unit .He also invited company representatives to take part in the unique Workshop program ”The best global cognitive-synergetic practices effects, strategic and technical solutions in the field of hard-to-recover reserves. ”
“This project continues a series of unique courses specially designed with the participation of leading international experts and taking into account the modern challenges facing enterprises in the oil and gas industry. Today, many facilities for the oil and gas industry are equipped with a great number of sensors, resulting in a huge data stream that creates confusions. The cognitive computing program will help the companies to cope with the problems that previously seemed to be insoluble. I hope that together with the companies producing new technologies and software we will be able to offer at once several solutions that might be of practical use in industry, ”said Ildus Adgamovich.
Anna Senyukova also proposed to implement a joint educational project to study the company’s software products with the delivery of a Microsoft Certificate and a KFU Certificate on advanced training, as well as to integrate the company’s existing tracks, for example MS Learn technological track, into the programs of the CATQM&M.
