CdoGEO and All-Russian Research Institute of Flow Measurement conclude another set of advanced training

On November 29, CdoGEO of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies, successfully completed several advanced training programs for oil and gas industry specialists. The unique courses on geomechanical modeling deserve special attention. “The course on geomechanical modeling includes both theoretical part and a lot of practical training. During the course we have time to study all basic aspects of oil and gas geomechanics, solve a number of practical problems, conduct laboratory geomechanical tests on real core samples from oil wells, build a one-dimensional geomechanical model and learn to apply it to solve practical problems related to the development of oil and gas fields. All classes are held in the form of discussions and debates. This allows us to solve problems and challenges with which the students came to the course. Besides, this course allows specialists from different spheres to exchange their own experience”, - says Eduard Ziganshin, Senior Research Associate of the Laboratory of In-Situ Combustion. 57 professionals received certificates on 29 November. Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies for Advanced Training and Industrial Partnerships, congratulated the trainees on the successful completion of training, thanked them for their active participation and teachers for quality work. Positive feedback from the participants confirmed the high quality of programs and organization of training: “I liked everything very much, the instructor is a specialist of high level, the lectures were easy, exciting and with humor, despite the fact that it was physics, I finally understood everything absolutely and learned seismic terminology, now it's easy”; “Made me want to work for you and promote science, people are on fire with their work! Новые горизонты для специалистов: курсы повышения квалификации CdoGEO ИГиНГТ КФУ и ВНИИР успешно завершены.

29 ноября в Центре дополнительного образования, менеджмента качества и маркетинга (CdoGEO) Института геологии и нефтегазовых технологий КФУ успешно завершились сразу несколько программ повышения квалификации для специалистов нефтегазовой отрасли. Состоялось торжественное закрытие курсов по «Литолого-фациальный и формационный анализ нефтегазоносных толщ», «Сейсмофациальный анализ», «Геомеханическое моделирование при бурении и заканчивании скважин. CdoGEO and All-Russian Research Institute of Flow Measurement continue cooperation in advanced training

Training on 7 advanced training programs started at the same time on 25 November: 'Lithological-facial and formation analysis of oil and gas bearing strata', ‘Seismofacial analysis’, ”Geomechanical modeling during drilling and completion of wells. Practical course with the use of software”, ‘Basics of geomechanics’, ‘Basics of Geomechanics in the development of hydrocarbon fields’, and ‘Monitoring of hydraulic fracturing by microseismic methods’. At the same time, at the Joint Department of Metrology of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies, located on the premises of the All-Russian Research Institute of Flow Measurement, a refresher course 'Ensuring the Uniformity of Measurements. Organization of metrological support in oil and gas refining and petrochemical companies' has been launched, in which employees of various divisions of Rosneft participate. Among the listeners of advanced training programs are employees of Rosneft, RN-BashNIPIneft, Surgutneftegaz, ZapSibNIIGG, TNNC, Irkutsk Oil Company, Gazprom, Vykhod LLC, Sakhalin LLC, as well as individual clients.

CdoGEO training oil and gas production operators

Since November 5, CdoGeo has launched training in the working profession of Oil and Gas Production Operator, 3rd Class. The program is designed for 3rd-year bachelor’s students who are members of the Tatarstan regional branch of the Russian Student Squads. The training is financed by a grant received by CdoGEO this year from the Russian Government. The training is held in parallel with the main curriculum, and the schedule is drawn up taking into account the students’ training profile. The main goal of the program is to provide students with practical skills in technological support and maintenance of machinery and equipment used in the process of hydrocarbon extraction. Over the course of two months, students will master the basics of the technological process of oil and gas production, conduct practical classes in specially equipped classrooms and laboratories. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certificate that will allow them to undergo internship in oil and gas production companies and get a paid job. This will also increase their chances of employment after graduation.

New batch of 31 students receive short course certificates at CdoGEO

From November 11 to November 15, CdoGEO held advanced training programs "Control over Field Development Using Field Geophysics Methods", "Modern Methods of Using Laser Scanners in Engineering and Geodetic Surveys", and "Metrological Expertise of Technical Documentation". The course participants included employees of Lukoil-Zapadnaya Sibir LLC, TNNC, Lukoil-Nizhnevolzhskneft LLC, ARCTICGAS JSC, TNG-AlGIS, Achimgas LLC, and individual clients. 31 professionals successfully completed the advanced training courses. The training was conducted in a mixed format: most of the students were present in person, and a few trained online. “We are pleased that our advanced training courses are gaining momentum, expanding cooperation with our long-standing partners by attracting new companies, such as Arcticgas and Achimgas,” commented CdoGEO Director Ildus Chukmarov.
