CdoGEO organized a field seminar for employees of the Gazprom Neft STC

On September 20, a three-day field seminar was launched in three districts of the Republic of Tatarstan for employees of Gazpromneft STC and PetroTrace, which was organized by the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO) of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University.

The first day of the seminar will take place in the Verkhneuslonsky region, in the village of Pechishchi, on the right bank of the Volga. On the second day, the participants of the seminar will travel to Tetyushsky district, where they will study the tectonic dislocations of the reference section of the Urzhum stage and sections of the Monastyrsky Ravine. The third day of the field trip will take place in the Kamsko-Ustinsky district on the Lobach Mountain and near the village of Syukeevo.

In addition, on September 20, training began on the following advanced training programs: “Open hole well logging data interpretation” and “Modern methods of engineering and geological surveys and determination of physical and mechanical properties of soils in field and laboratory conditions”. The students of these courses are employees of JSC Neftekhimproekt, JSC Institute Tatdorproek, JSC VolgogradNIPIneft, LLC SamaraNIPIneft, LLC TNG-Group, LLC LUKOIL-Western Siberia, and specialists from Uzbekistan, employees of the State Institution IGIRNIGM “and JSC Uzbekgeofizika, who came to Kazan for three months and plan to attend lectures on several programs of additional professional education.

The lecturers of the courses are Associate Professor of the Department of General Geology and Hydrogeology of IGPT KFU Rustam Musin, Head of the Department of Geophysics and Geoinformation Technologies of IGPT KFU Damir Khasanov, Associate Professor of the Department of General Geology and Hydrogeology of IGPT KFU Ayrat Latypov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Hard-To-Recover Hydrocarbons Development and Operation Boris Platov, Associate Professor of the Department of Regional Geology and Mineral Resources Rail Kadyrov, Engineer of the 1st category of the Department of Geophysics and Geoinformation Technologies Eduard Ziganshin.

“CdoGEO KFU implements advanced training programs in different formats in accordance with the customer’s requirements,” says Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director for Marketing, Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO). “We teach in person, in absentia, in hybrid form, internally, remotely, in the format of visiting the customer’s location. Today, the Center has 8 full-time students, 44 distance-learning students and 14 students, which are on the field trip. It is gratifying that today a representative of Serbia started his training at CdoGEO. Thus, in 2021, representatives of 6 countries studied with us. The countries are China, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Latvia and Serbia. The year is not over yet!”
