The fifth group of Tatneft mine surveyors completed their training at KFU

30 employees of PJSC TATNEFT completed their training under the professional surveying program “Mine Surveying” at the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing at the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University. It is worth noting that this is the fifth group of specialists trained in this program at KFU. Soon, diplomas of professional retraining will be sent to students.

Rustam Sakhautdinov, Chief Mine Surveyor of PJSC TATNEFT, expressed gratitude to Danis Nourgaliyev, Vice-Rector for Research, Director of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University, and Ildus Chukmarov, Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing, “I want to note the high level methods of teaching and attracting the teaching staff of the University that meet the highest standards. ” The chief surveyor personally attended all the final certifications and took the exam with the employees, which served as the reason for such a high assessment.

“Over the past two years, in this area, we have trained more than 150 specialists and managers in various advanced training programs and professional retraining. This year, work was successfully continued with the use of distance learning technologies. I am sure that new interesting projects await us. We are ready to work,” said Ildus Chukmarov, director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing.

The program is implemented in part-time form with the use of distance educational technologies. Most of the students studied remotely in the Moodle system, and face-to-face sessions were organized for them, with teachers leaving for Almetyevsk at the Tatneft Training Center. In connection with the current situation in the world for the fifth group, the final second session was organized completely remotely in the form of webinars.

The course covers such sections as surveying, surveying and geodetic instruments, analysis of the accuracy of surveying work, the theory of processing geodetic measurements. Students of the professional retraining program master the theoretical and practical aspects of mine surveying to ensure the safety of mining, rational use and protection of mineral resources, and automation of mine surveying.
