Gazprom Employees Upgraded their Qualification at KFU
The ceremony of delivery of certificates on advanced training to the employees of Gazprom enterprises took place in the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing at the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of KFU. A group of 10 company employees from Kazan, Tyumen, Saratov and Surgut have studied modern geodetic technologies in surveys and construction for five days. The program is aimed at acquiring theoretical knowledge in fundamentals of engineering and geodetic survey technologies, as well as practical skills in the use of modern and traditional methods of collecting and processing geodetic information in accordance with current regulatory documents.
The topics covered included the use of hardware geodetic support for engineering surveys, technologies for performing engineering and geodetic surveys, geodetic support for construction works, the processing and presentation of the engineering and geodetic working results. The practical part included making an executive survey using the Trimble partner- company instruments and GLONASS / GPS equipment. The feedback from participants described the equipment as valuable and essential in use.
The program was attended by the lecturers of the KFU Department of Astronomy and Space Geodesy, including one of the lead instructors Renat Zagretdinov, as well as the managers of industrial enterprises Rafik Nazarov (director of ‘”Eridan” ), Vladimir Serkov (general director of “Scanning” ) and Ruslan Komarov (director of GBU “Spatial Data Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan”).
Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director for Marketing of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University and Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing, noted that the Center is promoting interdisciplinary interaction of KFU departments within the content of Econeft priority area attracting experts from different fields .
It is worth noting that as far back as on March 16, the CATQM&M will provide an advanced training program “Actual issues of organizing and conducting geodetic, surveying, land use works and remote sensing techniques of the Earth in surveying” with the participation of ministries and government departments of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the Astronomy and Space Geodesy Department teachers. The topical workshops have been held since 2011 in KFU, the events having been attended by the specialists and managers of surveying services of Russia.
