CdoGEO KFU implements the third advanced training program for students from Latvia
“Today we are opening 8 professional development programs,” says Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director for Marketing, Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO).
Among them are:
- “Modern methods of engineering and geological surveys and determination of physical and mechanical properties of soils in field and laboratory conditions”
- “Study of Domanik deposits”
- “Modern geodetic technologies in survey and construction”
- “Design estimates for exploration work”
- “Technologies of seismic exploration – data acquisition, processing, interpretation”
- “Interpretation of seismic exploration”
- “Cement slurries used for casing cementing”
- “Operation of gas field equipment”
The education started for employees of PJSC Tatneft, LLC SamaraNIPIneft, JSC TomskNIPIneft, LLC RN-BashNIPIneft, LLC LUKOIL-Engineering, LLC LUKOIL Uzbekistan, LLC Gazprom proektirovanie (51 student in total). It is gratifying that among them there are students of the Latvian company “Conexus Baltic Grid” (17 students). The program for foreign partners is being implemented jointly with Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC.
CdoGEO already became an exporter of advanced training programs. Thus, in 2020, the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing the first time in the history of KFU resumed cooperation with companies from the Republic of Latvia, having implemented the program “Well workover at underground gas storage facilities” and “Well workover for gas production” training program for 19 students.
Since the Center’s foundation, we trained industry professionals from Kazakhstan (141 students), Uzbekistan (2 students), the Republic of Belarus (18 students), Cuba (216 students), Iraq (30 students). We also trained students as part of the Russian departmental target program for training engineering personnel in China, France, Germany, Switzerland. CdoGEO implemented programs with the participation of international partners from the USA, Canada and the UAE.
In 2021, CdoGEO developed “Applied Geophysics New Technologies” and “Geophysical Well Logging Method” programs for the China University of Petroleum (Huadong). In addition, the “Seismic facies analysis” Program was implemented for the specialists of JV VIETSOPETRO (Vietnam).
CdoGEO expands cooperation with Uzbekistan. The KFU delegation headed by Vice-Rector for Research, Director of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies Danis Nurgaliev and Deputy Director, Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing Ildus Chukmarov visited Uzbekistan to discuss further work plans.
It should be reminded that from 12 to 15 of May, representatives of two oil companies of Uzbekistan – Geo Research and Development Company LLC and Jizzakh Petroleum JV LLC visited IGPT KFU.
