Top manager of Rosgeologia visited KFU

Kazan Federal University had a visit from  Alexey Solovyov, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a well-known scientist in the field of geology, geochronology and tectonics of the North-East of Russia and the Arctic, director of geology of raw hydrocarbons of “Rosgeology” “Rosgeology” is a Russian multidisciplinary geological holding company that provides a full range of services in exploration, marine geology and offshore works.  Holding enterprises operate in all the eight federal districts of Russia.

To recap, during  St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a cooperation agreement was signed between KFU and Rosgeologia, which provides for the joint solution of the tasks of providing  integrated geological study of the subsoil, mineral replacement in terms of creating optimal conditions for prospecting, exploration and integrated development of mineral deposits based on advanced geological, geophysical and geochemical technologies.

Danis Nurgaliev, the Vice-rector for Research and Director of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan University,  demonstrated  the guest capabilities of the IGPT,   laboratories of Butlerov Chemial institute, REC “TRIZ Modelling” and the existing developments in this direction.

Alexey Viktorovich was impressed by “Geothermochronology” research  and educational center, its up- to-date equipment, which has no analogues in the Russian Federation.

Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director for Marketing of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of KFU and Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing told Alexei Viktorovich about the programs of further professional education provided at IGPT with the participation of  KFU scientists and experts  and its partners.

Alexey Solovyov noted that KFU has unique facilities and resources, as well as well-qualified teaching staff,  that make it possible to carry out various research and educational projects. “I hope that we will maintain business ties and, definitely, use some of the options that KFU provides, including in the field of further education, ”added Alexey Viktorovich.
