Specialists from Uzbekistan are upgrading their qualifications in the “Seismic Facies Analysis” course at CdoGEO, Kazan Federal University
On November 27, the training under the qualification enhancement program “Seismic Facies Analysis” began at the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management, and Marketing (CdoGEO) of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies, Kazan Federal University.
“The participants of the program are employees of LUKOIL-Engineering LLC and the State Unitary Enterprise “IGIRNIGM” (Uzbekistan). “It is important to emphasize that the participants are studying seismic facies analysis in the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies, where worked Nikolai Alexeyevich Golovkinsky, Professor of Kazan Imperial University, the discoverer of the facies correlation law. Continuing the glorious traditions of Kazan University, today the scientists of KFU remain leaders in the field of Geology and Petroleum Engineering,” says Ildus Chukmarov, the Deputy Director of IGPT for Marketing and the Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management, and Marketing (CdoGEO). “It is pleasing to see colleagues from Uzbekistan among the course participants. We maintain friendly relations with this country and annually train its specialists.”
