A group of 18 specialists of the state oil company of Cuba started their training at Kazan Federal University. After finishing one-year preparatory courses, Cupet employees will start the master’s programme at the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies (IGPT) of KFU. The young professionals are expected to major in oil and gas business.  They will take up one-year Russian language courses, after finishing   the courses the program "Development of hard-to-recover and unconventional hydrocarbon deposits" is to be covered by the Cuban specialists. The Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing of IGPT of KFU provided on-site training of TsPK-Tatneft employees in Almetyevsk  on the program “Integrated Design for the Development of Oil and Gas Fields. Management of construction projects”. Tatneft Training Center is participating in a special government Program designed to increase the competitiveness of pre-retirement age employees on the job market, brushing up their knowledge and skills, to meet  the needs of employers. One of the modules of the program that deals with the construction of oil and gas fields surface facilities was provided by the CATQMM.

A round table  with the participation of Cuban oil Research center CEINPET (a division of the state oil company CUPET in Cuba) and the leading  oil and gas companies of Russia  "NK "Rosneft", "TNG-group",  "Bashneftegeofizika" and GK MIRRICO was held at the Institute of Geology and Petroleum technologies of Kazan Federal University. The delegation of the Cuban oil Research center CEINPET headed by the General Director Amilcar Fierro Ruis de Ugarrio  arrived at  Kazan Federal University. CEINPET is a research center of the CUPET, a Cuban state oil company. The close cooperation between the IGPT of KFU and the state oil and gas company of Cuba, having  began several years ago, is rapidly developing.
