Specialists of Rosneft's subsidiary have completed their training under the “Fracture Modeling” advanced training program provided by the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing, IGPT, KFU. Within five days, employees of Rosneft NTC LLC and RN-BashNIPIneft LLC have been improving their skills in the field of fractured reservoirs and methods for fractures identification, as well as improved their practical skills in fractured reservoir simulation. Today, the second day of the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Actual Issues of Geodesy and Geoinformation Systems” is held in Kazan Federal University. The conference, which was opened yesterday at the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum, is dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the birth of I.M.Simonov. The first day plenary session was opened by Danis Nurgaliev, Vice-Rector for Research at Kazan Federal University, Director of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies. The 9th specialized exhibition GEO-KAZAN started  in one of the pavilions of the Kazan Fair in the framework of the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum:  Geological exploration. Geodesy. Cartography ”and the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference“ Actual Issues of Geodesy and GIS”. The Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies, together with the Department of Astronomy and Space Geodesy of the Institute of Physics of Kazan Federal University, have been participating in the organization of the conference since its inception.
