Courses on Metrology, Drilling and Study of Reservoir Fluids Samples: CdoGEO KFU for the third time beats its record for the number of students by training more than 100 people per week

On August 14, at the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO) of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of the Kazan Federal University, training began on the development programs of “Drilling and horizontal wells completion”, “Ensuring the uniformity of measurements. Organization of metrological support in oil and gas production ”, “Organization of quality control of oil and gas, ensuring the activities of the testing laboratory in oil and gas production ”, “Modern methods of selection and research of reservoir fluids samples”, “Verification (calibration) of reservoirs, tanks of bulk vessels and graduation of pipelines”.

The students of the courses are employees of PJSC NK Rosneft and its units. Employees of the private institution “Samruk Business Academy” (Astana, Kazakhstan) are trained on the “Verification (calibration) of reservoirs, tanks of bulk vessels and graduation of pipelines” program.

Training of metrologists and drilleys is held in a mixed format: half of the listeners are trained in person in the audiences of IGPT and VNIIR, a branch of FSUE VNIIM named after Mendeleev”, another half is trained remotely. Employees of Kazakhstani enterprises “Samruk Business Academy” improve their qualifications in absentia.

“This week we hit our record for the third time as the total number of listeners reached 101 people,” says Deputy Director of IGPT KFU for Marketing, Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO). “Specialists and heads of enterprises from different parts of the country come to us: The Republic of Udmurtia, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Samara, Orenburg, Tyumen and Tomsk regions, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Also this week we teach listeners from Kazakhstan. We have been cooperating with this country for a long time: since 2013, 146 employees of Kazakhstani enterprises have been trained at the CdoGEO KFU. In total, this year we trained representatives of the three countries: Belarus, China and Kazakhstan.”
