Specialists of NGDU “Yelkhovneft” completed training at the Center for Advanced training of IGPT KFU
The ceremony of delivery of diplomas on advanced training to the employees of the NGDU Elkhovneft (PAO TATNEFT) took place in the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing at the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies at KFU.
The company’s specialists have been trained upon the program “Log data Interpretation for oil and gas geologists”. The training program involves a large number of well logging methods and tutorials on log data interpretation programs. The students learned to interprete wells, ranging from the analysis of LAS files to the calculation of porosity and the determination of lithology.
During the ceremony director of the Center Ildus Chukmarov expressed his satisfaction and said that “along with the experienced professors and teachers of the Institute, the young employees (former graduates) of the Insitute are also involved in the implementation of additional professional education programs. Rustam Zinyukov, Igor Ognev, Sergey Usmanov and Lenar Minikhairov had been trained at the Petroleum Institute and the National Geological Institute in France. Boris Platov graduated from the University of Calgary (Canada). Their skills and knowledge were highly appreciated by the program participants .
