The Center for  Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of  KFU  implemented two educational projects at request of the” Tyumen Oil Research Center”of  ”Rosnef”  and ”Drilling Systems.” A project of  training twenty employees of ”Drilling Systems” company upon  the program “Theoretical Foundations and Practice of Measurement of Drilling Fluid Parameters in the API System” was implemented on the customer’s territory in Izhevsk jointly with Mirrico Group, a partner of CATQMM. Topics covered by Islamnur Fathutdinov, Lead Engineer of the company, Ph.D., included chemistry, classification, functions and properties of drilling fluids, as well as completion of the wells. Sergey Polyakov, General Director of “Drilling Systems” company, noted the high level of organization of the on-site training and expressed his hope for further cooperation in the field of staff development. One more advanced training program has been covered by the employees of the  “Tyumen Oil Research Center” ”Rosneft’. The program ‘Petrography of igneous and metamorphic rocks” has been specifically designed for the company. The participants attended lectures and practical classes of Oleg Lopatin, the professor of the Department of Mineralogy and Lithology of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of KFU. They also visited field-specific museums of Kazan as part of the courses, that is, the Museum of Natural History of Tatarstan, the only museum and REC in the Volga region

The Cooperation Agreement between Rosneft and KFU, signed in September last year, provides for joint work in the field of personnel training, scientific and innovative spheres, as well as for employees of the company and its subsidiaries to receive additional professional education in programs demanded by the Company, including using remote technologies.
