82 trainees have completed additional professional education programs over the past week

A group of 82 managers and specialists of  CUPET, Rosneft,  Lukoil, Surgutneftegaz, TATNEFT, Gazprom , MNKT, SERVIS NNK, Sevmorneftegeofizika,  Geotech successfully completed their studies on 13 additional professional education programs at the Center for Continuing Education, Quality Management and Marketing. Two of the programs were provided as on-site training:  in Havana (Cuba) and Almetyevsk. Another event of current interest is the annual seminar "Actual issues of organizing and conducting geodetic, surveying, land use works and remote sensing techniques of the Earth in surveying”, with the participation of ministries and government departments of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event lasted for five days and included both theoretical studies at IGPT and practical classes provided by Astronomy and Space Geodesy Department of the Institute of Physics.   During the seminar, topical issues of surveying and improving geodynamic safety during exploitation of hydrocarbon deposits, issues of improving the regulatory framework for surveying operations, modern hardware and software solutions from the top software programming leader for geodesy, surveying and mapping have been considered. “Conducting such large-scale courses and cooperation with the participants of ongoing programs made it possible to design new educational projects. An agreement has been reached on providing a new program “Work of Mining Surveyors of Oil and Gas Enterprises using the ArcGis program” for TATNEFT in May this year. The possibility of training mining engineers at the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies is considered. In addition, cooperation with Trimble has been expanded,” said Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director of IGPT, Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing. Also the programs “Oil and gas traps, hydrocarbon reservoir modeling”, “Field geology and reservoir properties”, “Fundamentals of exploration activities” and “Major aspects of geological modeling”, implemented by the  teachers of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies in unique laboratories of  KFU, have been highly praised by the participants.

In the Incubator of distant educational projects of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies at KFU, a webinar of Mikhail Karavanov, Trimble (USA) official representative, was held. KFU and the state oil company of Cuba on the way to a new educational project

Tani Perez and Mario Miranda, representatives of the Cuban state oil company CUPET visited the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of  Kazan Federal University.  A close cooperation between the IGPT of KFU and the state oil and gas company of Cuba having started off a few years ago, is rapidly developing  . The purpose of the visit was to discuss the current contract on  the provision of advanced training services for 200 managers and specialists of the company, as well as the prospects for the implementation of a new two-year professional retraining program " Petroleum Engineering". Kazan Federal University presented its developments to Vietnamese oil and gas companies

A delegation of Kazan Federal University, Danis Nurgaliyev, the Vice-rector for Research of  KFU and the Director of IGPT and ldus Chukmarov, Deputy Director of IGPT and  Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing paid a visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Doors Open Day at the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies KFU

On March 3  Doors Open Day was held  at the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of  Kazan Federal University. The event attracted schoolchildren from different regions of  Russia -.  Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Chuvash Republic, Mari El, Nizhny Novgorod, Ulyanovsk, Smolensk and Moscow regions, and even from  far away  Komi Republic.. This day appeared to be a real “test-drive” for  the future applicants: everyone received a student card, a record book, they  also attended lectures and tutorials on general geology, paleontology, geophysics, geo-information systems, petroleum geology and oil and gas engineering. The schoolchildren  had a good chance to explore the unique laboratories of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies  and  A.A. Stukenberg  geological museum. In addition, the guys took part in the interactive contest “How well do you know the history of the Earth?”, and in the prize drawing  with the symbols of KFU and IGPT in  social networks. (далее…)

Kazan Federal University and ‘Rosneft” started collaboration

A delegation of 17 managers and specialists, representatives of various departments of Rosneft, visited  Kazan Federal University. During a two-day visit the guests got acquainted with the capabilities of the laboratories of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies, A.M. Butlerov Chemical Institute, as well as of the research Center “TRIZ Modeling ", one of the priority areas in the field of oil production, refining and petrochemistry. During the visit, the delegation held round table talks on the problems of "Perspective developments in the field of increasing the efficiency of hydrocarbon production and transportation" and "Modern methods of data processing and development of deposits with hard-to-recover reserves". It is worth noting that one of the initiators of the meeting was a specialized institute for the development of high-viscosity oil and natural bitumen deposits SamaraNIPIneft. (далее…)

72 employees of “Gazprom Transgaz Kazan” will be provided training at KFU

The  Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing of  IGPT KFU  and  “Gazprom Transgaz Kazan” signed an agreement on the  training of  72 oil and gas industry specialists  on the professional retraining program, specifically designed on demand of  the company. The curriculum includes both full-time (56 hours) and distance learning (194 hours) programs. Course participants from different regions of Tatarstan will learn the basis of design, development  and operation of  oil and gas fields, processing, transportation, as well as economics of  oil and gas industry. “ The  Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing  is expanding its cooperation with PAO Gazprom. Today, 12 structural divisions of the enterprise have become our customers”, shared  Ildus Chukmarov, director of the Center. This week the first group of participants has started their training after having  completed the first part of the program.
