CdoGEO KFU expands cooperation and enters the market of Uzbekistan
On May 21, at the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO) of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of the Kazan Federal University, students successfully completed their training under the following programs: “Modern methods of engineering and geological surveys and determination of physical and mechanical properties of soils in field and laboratory conditions”, “Study of Domanik deposits”, “Modern geodetic technologies in survey and construction”, “Design estimates for exploration work”, “Technologies of seismic exploration – data acquisition, processing, interpretation ”,“ Interpretation of seismic exploration ”,“Cement slurries used for casing cementing”,“ Operation of gas field equipment ”, “ArcGIS Desktop I: Getting Started with GIS”.
The listeners were satisfied with the organization of training, the content of the programs, educational materials and the quality of teaching. In the satisfaction questionnaires, they thanked the organizers noting that such a complex topic as Domanic deposits was presented in an accessible and simple way. Also, the students expressed a desire to attend other programs of additional professional education.
Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director for Marketing, Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing noted the following: “I want to join the positive feedback from the audience and thank the teachers for the high-quality work done: Head of the Department of Mineralogy and Lithology of IGPT KFU Vladimir Morozov, Associate Professor of the Department of Regional Geology and Minerals of IGPT KFU Shavkat Gafurov, Head of the Sample Preparation Laboratory of IGPT Oleg Andrushkevich, as well as Boris Platov, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Development and Operation of Hard-to-Recover Hydrocarbon Deposits at IGPT KFU, Associate Professor at the Department of Astronomy and Space Geodesy Rinat Zagretdinov, Associate Professor at the Department of General Geology and Hydrogeology at IGPT KFU Airat Latypov, Associate Professor of the Department of Geophysics and Geoinformation Technologies of IGPT KFU Damir Khasanov, Associate Professor of the Department of General Geology and Hydrogeology of IGPT KFU Ildar Nuriev, Senior Researcher of the Research Laboratory of Rheological and Thermochemical Research of the Chemical Institute of KFU Vladimir Novikov, Candidate of Chemical Sciences Karina Gataullina and Associate Professor of the Department of Regional Geology and Mineral Resources Rail Kadyrov, 1st category engineer Eduard Ziganshin, 1st category engineer Aleksei Stepanov. This week, Ildus Chukmarov, Director of CdoGEO during a working trip to Moscow held talks on expanding cooperation and joint development with Viktor Ovcharuk, Director of AGT Systems. The company is our long-term partner and is a supplier of geophysical equipment. Among its foreign partners are the following Canadian companies: Scintrex, GEM Systems, Triumph; American companies: Geometrics, Micro-G LaCoste, Czech company RS Dynamics, etc. The head of CdoGEO discussed with Viktor Ovcharuk the possibility of developing and implementing joint programs of additional professional education for Uzbekistan.
In Moscow, Ildus Chukmarov met with representatives of Emerson – Head of the Software Development Department of Roxar & Paradigm Tigran Ambaryan.
“During the meeting, we outlined ways to further expand cooperation with the world’s leading company “Emerson” and its division “Roxar & Paradigm” in the development and implementation of new joint programs of additional professional education for leading oil and gas companies in Russia, the CIS countries and the world,” said Ildus Chukmarov.
Also this week, a delegation of Kazan Federal University headed by Vice-Rector for Research, Director of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies Danis Nurgaliev, Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director for Innovation Vladislav Sudakov, Head of the Department of Development and Operation of Hard-to-Recover Hydrocarbon Fields Mikhail Varfolomeev, Engineer of the Laboratory of enhanced oil recovery methods Rail Kadyrov, head of the project for the development of geophysical services of PJSC TATNEFT Ramil Mukhamadiev visited the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The program of the visit included meetings with representatives of Uzbekgeofizika JSC, Institute of Geology and Exploration of Oil and Gas Fields (IGIRNIGM), State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Geology and Mineral Resources, ERIELL international oil service group, Jizzakh Petroleum JV LLC, JSC O`ZLITINEFTGAZ, Gas Project Development Central Asia AG and Geo Reserch and Company LLC.
Interesting discussions took place at a round table organized by the management of Jizzakh Petroleum LLC. The meeting was devoted to the issues of enhanced oil recovery at the existing fields of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the use of possible technologies to increase the efficiency of production, methods of enhancing oil recovery. In turn, Danis Nurgaliev told the colleagues about the technologies and developments of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies. Also during the meeting, negotiations were underway on the development of joint research activities in the field of prospecting and exploration of deposits and production stimulation, increasing oil production of fields in Uzbekistan.
Particular attention at the round table was paid to the training and development of personnel in the oil and gas industry of Uzbekistan. Ildus Chukmarov presented programs of additional professional education to the partners of Uzbekistan, highlighting the “Methods of enhanced oil recovery”, “Oil and gas fields management” programs and the professional retraining program “Internship topical issues of prospecting and exploration of oil and gas fields.”
Moreover, Danis Nurgaliev, Ildus Chukmarov, Mikhail Varfolomeev took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Integration of Science and Production – the Basis for Sustainable Development of the Oil and Gas Industry of Uzbekistan”. During the conference, Danis Karlovich Nurgaliev spoke about the scientific and educational activities of the university, the head of CdoGEO made reports on the following topic: “Experience of KFU in the tasks of training and retraining of personnel”, Mikhail Varfolomeev reported on “Experience and prospects for enhanced oil recovery in hydrocarbon fields.”
A fruitful meeting within the framework of a trip to Uzbekistan took place with Dilbarhon Fazilova, Leading researcher of the Astronomical Institute named after Ulugbek and Hasan Magdiev, an employee of the Cadastral Agency under the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Ildus Chukmarov discussed with colleagues cooperation in the field of comprehensive advanced training for mine and land surveyors.
The result of negotiations with the Director General of JSC Institute of Geology and Exploration of Oil and Gas Fields, Ravshanzhon Yusupzhonov, was an agreement on the internship of the Institute’s personnel within the framework of a state grant from the Government of Uzbekistan for training abroad.
It is noteworthy that training at CdoGEO will be held by two employees of Uzbekgeofizika JSC, who learned about IGPT KFU thanks to our YouTube channel. Thus, social channels of CdoGEO began to work for international orders!
