Cupet specialists started training at KFU
A group of 18 specialists of the state oil company of Cuba started their training at Kazan Federal University. After finishing one-year preparatory courses, Cupet employees will start the master’s programme at the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies (IGPT) of KFU. The young professionals are expected to major in oil and gas business. They will take up one-year Russian language courses, after finishing the courses the program “Development of hard-to-recover and unconventional hydrocarbon deposits” is to be covered by the Cuban specialists.
The project upon the terms and conditions of intergovernmental agreement is being implemented for the second time. In the past year a group of 16 Cupet specialists successfully completed their studies at Kazan Federal University on the program “Modern technologies for the exploration and development of high-viscosity oil.”
