Director of CdoGEO KFU took part in the exhibition “Gas. Oil. Technologies — 2023” in Ufa
On May 23, the Russian Petrochemical Forum of the XXXI International Specialized Exhibition “Gas. Oil. Technologies-2023” has been opened in Ufa.
The purpose of the forum is to conduct a comprehensive and reliable assessment of the Russian oil and gas industry challenges through an open discussion of expert opinion leaders.
The event brought together representatives of industrial enterprises (oil and gas, oilfield services, construction, engine building, engineering, etc.), as well as representatives of universities.
Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University, Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO) took part in the exhibition representing the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University.
The event presented a full cycle from the search and development of subsoil, to new processing technologies, industrial technologies and equipment, logistics, engineering and oilfield services.
The forum included plenary sessions, seminars, scientific and practical conferences, panel discussions and round tables.
The participants of the exhibition organized stands where they presented their advanced developments. Among them are partners of IGPT KFU: NPF Paker LLC, subdivisions of Rosneft Oil Company PJSC, Gazprom PJSC, GazpromNeft PJSC.
“Warm and productive meetings were held with the management of JSC Bashneftegeofizika, NPF Paker, PJSC Transneft, LLC Bashneft-Petrotest. With the director of Bashneftegeofizika JSC Rustem Adiev, we discussed the creation of a new courses for petroleum engineers of oil and gas fields and service companies,” says Ildus Chukmarov. – In addition, Rustem Yavdatovich said that his employees want to defend doctoral and candidate dissertations at KFU, one of the most prestigious universities in the world. It should be noted, that Kazan Federal University has improved its position among the wold’s universities, having risen to the 40th place in the subject ranking of the British company QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) in the field of Petroleum Engineering and took the 2nd place among Russian universities. With an old friend, a partner of IGPT, the director of NPF Paker, Marat Nagumanov, we agreed to continue cooperation in the field of marketing. Thus, the company equipped an auditorium at IGPT, annually supplies gifts for our partners and supports the youth scientific conference “Tatarstan UpExPro 2023”. Marat Mirsatovich also agreed to conduct a career guidance campaign among his employees, whose children study in high schools. The topic of education (undergraduate and graduate) was also discussed with representatives of Transneft.
Director of CdoGEO spoke at the round table “Transformation of sales markets and search for new partners”. Ildus Chukmarov called on the participants of the round table to cooperate in order to develop markets together and implement large projects. Only by joint efforts can great results be achieved – this is exactly what the motto of the Center is about: “We integrate everybody’s possibilities
for the success of everyone”. The director of CdoGEO cited several successful examples of cooperation, including the World-class scientific center in the field of Petroleum Engineering “Rational Development of the Planet’s Liquid Hydrocarbon Reserves”, which has been created on the basis of Kazan Federal University. The project is being implemented in the format of a consortium, which includes the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Skoltech, UGNTU. Ildus Adgamovich’s speech aroused great interest among the participants of the round table. Everyone agreed with the proposal of the Director of the Center and became interested in visiting Kazan and KFU.
During the forum, we managed to meet both existing partners and find new ones. Metrology courses of CdoGEO interested the management of PG Metran JSC. The Deputy Director of IGPT agreed with them on the joint development of metrology programs.
The exhibition was visited by delegations from Turkey and Uzbekistan, with whom they also discussed the possibility of advanced training and professional retraining of specialists and managers of oil and gas companies. It should be noted that IGPT KFU closely cooperates with Uzbekistan in educational and scientific areas. Foreign partners are interested in our developments in the field of prospecting and exploration of oil fields and training in this area. Previously, employees of JSC “Uzbekgeofizika” and State Institution “IGiRNiGM” underwent advanced training at the Center.
From the point of view of the joint development of new markets, negotiations were held with representatives of Gazprom Neft – Industrial Innovations LLC.
“It is gratifying that within the framework of the exhibition there were many meetings with graduates of the Oktyabrsky Oil College. Named after S.I. Kuvykin, Faculty of Geology, KSU/Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies and the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO). And it is especially pleasant that diplomas of additional professional education, along with diplomas of basic education, helped build our graduates a successful trajectory in their personal and professional lives. We are waiting for new entrants!” said Ildus Chukmarov.
