Employees of UE “Production Association “Belorusneft” improve their skills at CdoGEO IGPT KFU
On January 31, at the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO) of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of the Kazan Federal University, the training of UE “Production Association “Belorusneft” employees started under the “Practical Reservoir Simulation Modeling” advanced training program.
In the framework of this course, students will study reservoir physics and fluid properties of reservoir simulation models, as well as theoretical and practical aspects of geological modeling and well flow testing. Most of the course is devoted to the construction of reservoir simulation models, in particular, the introduction to reservoir simulation modeling, a review of reservoir simulation softwares as well as principles of reservoir simulation modeling.
Also on January 31, a face-to-face session began on the “Hydrodynamic modeling for optimizing the field development system, increasing oil recovery and reducing costs” professional retraining program. This program is included in the list of courses developed within the framework of the World-class Science Center. The course participants are students and employees of Surgut State University, Ufa State Scientific and Technical University and the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of KFU.
Both programs are taught by Senior Lecturer of the Department of Hard-To-Recover Hydrocarbons Development and Operation Boris Platov and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Geophysics and Geoinformation Technologies Sergey Usmanov.
“It is gratifying to see our friends from the Republic of Belarus among our listeners again,” says Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director for Marketing at IGPT, Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO). In 2019, in Gomel, CdoGEO conducted advanced training for 15 employees of OGPD Rechitsaneft (a division of PA Belorusneft) under the program “Oilfield management using production geophysics methods”. In 2020, CdoGEO organized training for Belorusneft employees under the Microseismic Hydraulic Fracturing Monitoring program in Kazan. Cooperation between CdoGEO and UE “Production Association “Belorusneft” continues to develop!”
It should be noted that in 2021, at the celebration of the 65th anniversary of JSC NPP VNIIGIS, the Director of CdoGEO discussed the implementation of FVE courses for employees of the Belarusian company with Sergey Rudenko, Deputy Head of the Geology Department of Belorusneft.
