Specialists and managers of oil companies are upgrading their qualifications at CdoGEO KFU
On November 13th, training began at the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management, and Marketing (CdoGEO) of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies at Kazan Federal University. The training includes programs on “Fundamentals of Hard-to-Recover Oil Reserves Production“, “Current Issues in Enhanced Oil Recovery Methods“, “Non-Seismic Methods for Hydrocarbon Reservoirs Prospecting“, “Well Testing“, “Integrated Development and Exploration of Hydrocarbon Resources“, and “Analysis of Development and Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Geological and Technical Measures Based on Geological and Reservoir Modeling“.
A total of 32 people are participating in the training this week, with 24 attending in person and the rest in a distance learning format. The participants include employees from companies such as LUKOIL-Western Siberia LLC, RN-BashNIPIneft LLC, INK LLC, LUKOIL-Nizhnevolskneft LLC, NGDU Bystrinskneft, NGDU Surgutneft, KrasnoyarskNIPIneft LLC, Baikit Oil and Gas Exploration Expedition, LUKOIL-Engineering LLC, KogalymNIPIneft LLC, and IGIRGI.
“This week, we are attracting a large number of tutors and experts to implement the courses,” says Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director of Marketing and Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management, and Marketing (CdoGEO). “The participants will also visit the laboratories of IGPT, including the ‘Combustion Pipe’ – a unique installation designed for modeling and researching oil displacement processes using various enhanced oil recovery methods (steam, polymers, chemical methods, in-situ combustion), as well as evaluating their applicability. When organizing training, we strive to provide specialists and company leaders with more knowledge than they expect to gain.”
