Specialists from Cuba and eleven cities of Russia studied at KFU
46 managers and specialists of Cupet, NK”Rosneft”, Gazprom, Tatneft, Transneft, Mosgipprotrans, Betonit Company Group, OOO Territoriya and TSLATI FSBI updraded their skills in the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing of IGPT of KFU
“This week, the geography of the course participants turned out to be very extensive: Havana (Cuba), Moscow, Kogalym, Izhevsk, Tyumen, Yoshkar-Ola, Chernigorsk (Republic of Khakassia), Zyryanka (Kurgan region), Ufa, Krasnoyarsk and Krasnodar. It is gratifying that our Center is recognized by industrial companies throughout Russia. How well we meet our objectives is illustrated by the fact that most of the course participants come to our Center following recommendations from their colleagues, which testifies to the quality of our services being the key to further development and new contracts,” said Ildus Chukmarov, Director of the CATQM&M.
It is worth noting that the program “Integrated Well Operation” has been specifically designed for a group of 20 specialists of the state oil company of Cuba. It was the finishing course of the present contract provided as on-site training in Havana. This program was provided jointly with an expert Nikolai Kuzmichev, Director of Oil – XXI Century company, the Center’s partner.
“We designed the course program to meet the needs of the company. Mostly, they were interested in carbonate reservoirs, viscous oil and horizontal wells. Cuban colleagues are very grateful listeners. They got interested in the topics covered and asked a lot of questions,” Nikolai Petrovich shared.
To recap, in 2018, the CATQM&M concluded the largest contract in the history of Kazan Federal University for the provision of professional retraining services for two hundred managers and specialists of a foreign enterprise on ten different programs that was successfully implemented. The result of this work was the decision of Cupet management to make a new contract with the Center for 2020 and 2021.
“Partners of the Center, including leading world and national industry experts, developers and suppliers of advanced technologies, made a great contribution to the implementation of this contract. We are interested in mutually beneficial cooperation, to meet specific requirements of both the customers and partners. Besides, we constantly review the range of the programs offered on request of each customer, ”added Ildus Adgamovich.
The Center also provided training on the programs “Modern methods of engineering and geological surveys and determination of physical and mechanical properties of soils in field and laboratory conditions”, “Petrophysics and geophysics in petroleum geology”, “Fundamentals of prospecting and exploration of mineral deposits”, “Monitoring of field development by geophysical well logging”, as well as an individual internship on the problem “Practical application of neural networks in geology ”.
The training on the program “Geology and Geochemistry of Oil and Gas” has completed. Over a year of study, the course participants have covered the topics on theoretical and practical aspects of oil and gas geology and geochemistry, interpretation of seismic exploration, the basics of interpreting GIS data, drilling events and well completion, enhanced oil recovery methods, the basics of geological and hydrodynamic modeling. They studied by a variety of methods including mostly distance – learning .
