Karaganda graduates of CdoGEO at KFU will recommend additional professional education courses in Kazakhstan

On October 13th, at the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO), training was conducted on the following 5-day qualification improvement programs: “Surveying“, “Application of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GLONASS/GPS) in Geodesy, Cartography, and Navigation“, “Industrial Safety Requirements in Surveying Support for Mining Operations” and “Modern Methods of Geophysical Well Research“.

In addition, training took place on a specially designed 3-day program “Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry as the Primary Tool for Geochemical Research” for specialists from OJSC “NK Rosneft – NTC”.

During the same week, an in-person session was organized for the professional retraining program “Geodesy“, which was attended by employees of JSC “Neftekhimproject.”

From September 12th to October 11th, two doctoral students from the Karaganda Technical University named after Abilkas Saginov received training at CdoGEO KFU in the “Geology and Exploration of Solid Minerals Deposits” (72 hours) program. The student’s foreign consultant is Rafael Sungatullin, the head of the Department of Regional Geology and Mineral Resources.

The Kazakhstani participants were satisfied with the training and suggested promoting CdoGEO to students, faculty, and researchers at the Karaganda Technical University.

“I propose creating a platform for marketing the opportunities of KFU to expand cooperation in all areas: primary and additional education, scientific research, exchange of experiences, and more,” said Aibek Tleubergen.

“We express our immense gratitude to our foreign consultant, Rafael Sungatullin, who has done a tremendous work on every section of the dissertation. Thanks to CdoGEO for organizing work with the library fund, arranging a tour of the laboratories, and introducing us to modern software,” said Nagima Zhumadilova.

“CdoGEO continues to collaborate with Kazakhstani organizations, creating conditions for expanding cooperation in scientific, educational, and business activities,” said Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director of IGPT for Marketing and Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO). “It is gratifying to note that this week, participants came from both Kazakhstan and almost all regions of Russia, including employees of PJSC NK Rosneft. It’s pleasant to see high satisfaction with the organization of the courses and the instructors in all programs.”

In their satisfaction surveys, participants wrote: “The course materials presented are understandable for both managers and specialists.” “A large amount of interesting and comprehensive material on industrial safety requirements in the field of surveying support for mining operations. Special thanks to Nazarov R.R. for the lecture on UAVs.”
