Specialists from eight cities of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus studied at KFU
A group of 20 managers and specialists of Rosneft Oil Company, Belorusneft, LUKOIL-Engineering, Ingeoservis , INK , Surgutneft and ProfessionalGeoSolutionsKazakhstan upgraded their skills in the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing of IGPT of Kazan Federal University.
Participants of the programs ” Domanic Deposits Studies”, “Microseismic Fracture Mapping”, “Interpretation of Seismic Survey”, “Design and estimate documentation for geological exploration” were delivered lectures from lead teachers of KFU and industry experts, partners of the Center, and visited unique laboratories of the Institute during the practical lessons.
In addition, the participants of the professional retraining program “Geophysics: seismic exploration” passed their final exams. One-year course included theory and many practical applications of seismic data interpretation. It should be noted that most of the material was studied remotely on the electronic educational site of KFU.

Today, the Center is actively developing its infrastructure, creating new advanced teaching methods and technologies of distance learning . In the “Incubator of Distance Learning Projects” we provide online lectures and webinars and make recordings of micro-lessons that are built in into the online programs. We consider this mode of training to be very flexible and practical from a financial point of view,”said Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director for Marketing of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University and Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing.
