The director of CdoGEO at Kazan Federal University presented a model for the training of modern engineers at the Black Sea Oil and Gas Conference
On September 23rd, the 18th International Scientific and Practical Conference on “Modern Technologies in Well Construction and Major Repairs. Prospective Methods for Enhanced Oil Recovery” concluded in Sochi. The event was organized by “NITPO” LLC.
The conference saw participation from representatives of major oil and gas companies, including PJSC “NK Rosneft” (subsidiaries), PJSC “Surgutneftegas,” AO “Zarubezhneft,” PJSC “Gazprom Neft” (subsidiaries), TAGRAS Holding, and others. The conference garnered significant interest from industry professionals. Representatives from “Packer Service” LLC, Ulyanovsk Machinery Plant, “NPK Filter” LLC, and “Enterprise B-1336” AO also presented at the event.
The scientific community also showed great interest in the conference, with participants from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Tyumen Industrial University, and Kazan Federal University. Kazan Federal University was represented by the Deputy Director of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies and the Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management, and Marketing (CdoGEO), Ildus Chukmarov.
The main conference topics included well construction design, drilling fluid systems, materials and chemical reagents, well workover, and geological and production studies.
Special attention was given to the training of young specialists and in-house personnel development. The director of CdoGEO delivered a presentation on “The Model for Training Modern Engineers and Integration into the In-House Assessment and Development System of Oil and Gas Enterprises and Universities.” In his presentation, Ildus Chukmarov emphasized the importance of quality management in educational activities, the interaction between the in-house assessment system and personnel development of the enterprise and university.
“Kazan Federal University is the only university in Russia where a world-class Scientific Center for Rational Development of Liquid Hydrocarbons of the Planet has been established,” stated the director of CdoGEO. “KFU holds a leading position in the implementation and export of additional professional education programs in the fields of geology, geophysics, metrology, surveying, and, recently, courses in drilling, geosteering, geomechanics, well workover, drilling and cementing fluids. These programs are implemented in collaboration with our partners and are gaining popularity among customers. Therefore, the conference provided an excellent opportunity to present our programs in more detail, attracting both experts and new course participants. In my presentation, I introduced a new model for training modern engineers and the concept of integrating external educational resources into the in-house assessment and development system of enterprises. It was especially pleasant to meet our long-time partners, such as Mirrico Group, with whom we implement drilling programs, Packer Service LLC, TAGRAS Holding, Gazprom International Limited, with whom we conducted courses for representatives of Serbia. I express my immense gratitude for the fruitful collaboration to the conference organizers, particularly to Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Stroganov, the CEO of NPF “NITPO.”
As the director of CdoGEO emphasized, each participant’s presentation was captivating, showcasing the experiences of enterprises and raising questions from interested listeners. The event provided the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management, and Marketing with the opportunity to introduce themselves to new partners and invite them to collaborate.
