12 managers and specialists of TatNIPIneft have been provided training at KFU

The Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing  of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of  KFU  implemented a special project  at the request  of   TATNEFT.   12 managers and specialists of the Tatar Research and Design Institute of Oil of  TATNEFT (TatNIPIneft) covered  an advanced  on-site training program “Basis of GIS” in Bugulma.

During the course, the first principles of logging in the open borehole and development control were considered. The students got acquainted with the main methods used in the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as their interpretation.

“In the course of practical work the students independently learned how to determine  stratigraphic identity of sediments, identify reservoir layers and evaluate their lithology, as well as calculate porosity and saturation,” shared the teacher of the course, deputy director of the Center Boris Platov.

Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director for Marketing of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of  Kazan Federal University and  Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing  said : ”the Center regularly conducts on-site training for employees of the structural subdivisions of  Tatneft in Almetyevsk and Bugulma.
