Geologists of Belorusneft have been trained in Gomel by KFU

The Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing of IGPT of  Kazan Federal University provided  training  for a group of  geologists of the Rechitsaneft oil and gas production department (a division of the State Production Association Belorusneft) in Gomel. For five days, the employees of the enterprise have been brushing up on field geophysics  on the advanced training program “Control of field development by logging cased wells” supervised by Ekaterina Yachmeneva, a  lecturer of  Geophysics and Geoinformation Technologies Department. The course includes some theory and many practical applications.

“The participants showed a keen interest in the topic presented and were involved in the joint work doing practical tasks and interpretation, ” shared Ekaterina Anatolyevna.

In turn, the participants appreciated the quality of teaching, as well as the accessible presentation of material, in their satisfaction profiles.

Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director for Marketing of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University and Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing,  said that the young teacher also takes an active part in online projects based on the “Incubator of distance educational projects”: Ekaterina Anatolyevna   had  her video lectures recorded and posted on  You tube channel  of the  Center. The Center always returns the teachers’ lead  and support in reaching  potential  involving  them in designing and providing  programs on further professional education, as well as  creating unique online content.

Ildus Adgamovich also told  about another project having been implemented the previous week, that is, training of twenty Cupet specialists on the program ‘Drilling Fluids” that had been provided jointly with the Mirrico company, partner  of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing,  in Havana (Cuba).

“In Havana, the ninth group of employees of the state oil company of Cuba was trained under  the contract on provision of continuing education services  for 200 managers and specialists of the enterprise on 10 different programs. And, currently, negotiations are underway on concluding a new contract for 14 more  programs  to be provided in 2020 and 2021  both on the basis of KFU and on the basis of Cupet, ”added Ildus Chukmarov.

Arthur Michel, a lead training specialist, in his lectures told Cuban colleagues about the basics of chemistry and physics of drilling fluids, rheology and hydraulics, and various options for complications during drilling.

“The course participants having different levels of training increased their performance from  40%  at the entry to  94%. at the end of the courses. Cupet employees expressed their satisfaction with high quality teaching  and up-to-date materials available, ”said Arthur Michel.

Moreover, the specialists  from Tomsk, Krasnoyarsk, Ufa, Surgut, Almetyevsk, Tyumen and St. Petersburg, representing NK Rosneft, Surgutneftegaz,  Novatek,  Gazprom and Almetyevsk State Oil  companies, have successfully completed  their raining at IGPT.

It is worth noting that this past week, the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing provided  three on-site programs. The third project was the professional retraining program “ Mine Survey” for Tatneft employees. A group of eighteen specialists were delivered on-line lectures as part of the second session.  97 surveyors  have been trained in the Center all in all.
