CdoGEO KFU launched advanced training and professional retraining courses in Lithofacies Analysis, Geophysics, Geodesy, Well Logging Interpretation
On April 3, at the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO) of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University, training began on the following advanced training programs: “Open hole well logging data interpretation”, “Application of global navigation satellite systems (GLONASS/GPS) in geodesy, mapping and navigation”, “Lithofacial and formational analysis of oil and gas bearing strata”, “Lithofacies analysis of oil and gas bearing strata”. A face-to-face session was also opened under the professional retraining program “Geophysics: geophysical surveys of wells” and under the programs “Responsible head of blasting during perforating, blasting and other operations in oil, gas, water and other wells” and “Responsible manager of shooting operations at seismic prospecting”.
The courses are participated by employees of LLC LUKOIL-AIK, LLC SPETSNEFTESERVICE, LLC ARGOS, LLC Erendai Group Ural, LLC TNG-Group, JSC Tatnefteprom, the Tyumen branch of SurgutNIPIneft and individuals.
“The geography of students this week has expanded from the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug to the Crimea,” says Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director of the IGPT KFU for Marketing, Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO). “Half of the students are trained full-time, another students are trained remotely, so we conduct courses in any format at the request of the customer. The programs are implemented by employees of the IGPT — Associate Professor of the Department of Paleontology and Stratigraphy Svetlana Zorina, Head of the Department of Mineralogy and Lithology of the IGPT KFU Vladimir Morozov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Hard-To-Recover Hydrocarbons Development and Operation of the IGPT KFU Boris Platov, employees of the KFU — Associate Professor of the Department of Astronomy and Space Geodesy of the Institute of Physics KFU Renat Zagretdinov as well as invited Trimble technology expert (USA) Mikhail Karavanov and labor protection specialist of Surgutneftegaz Irina Sidorova.
