Gazprom Transgaz Kazan employees study at KFU

Twenty Gazprom Transgaz Kazan executives and specialists studying at the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing at the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University by the professional retraining program, have begun the final stage – an intramural online session. The audience was greeted by the director of the Center, Ildus Adgamovich Chukmarov, who noted that this was the second special project created by order of the company.

“Last year, 72 managers and specialists of Gazprom Transgaz Kazan studied under the professional retraining program“ Oil and Gas Business for Oil and Gas Industry Specialists ”. This year, the company’s management decided to continue fruitful cooperation and train another 20 employees under the program “Design, Construction and Operation of Gas and Oil Pipelines and Gas and Oil Storage Facilities”. The students have already mastered the main part of the program at the remote educational site of Kazan Federal University, and this week they reached the finish line, and final certification awaits them on Friday”, – said Ildus Adgamovich.

Students from various regions of Tatarstan are studying the basics of designing, developing and operating oil and gas fields, processing, application and transportation of oil and gas, as well as economics in the oil and gas industry. Leading teachers of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University during the week will give online lectures, answer questions from students and conduct practical classes.

KFU has a rich history of cooperation with PJSC Gazprom and its structural divisions. Ildus Adgamovich told the audience about this during the webinar: “We regularly train company employees from all over Russia at our Center, both within the current schedule and in creating special projects. We trained managers and specialists of the metrological service of Gazprom Neft PJSC, headed by the head of the automation and metrology department. Fruitful cooperation is also being conducted in the field of joint research work. In April 2019, a ceremonial signing of an agreement on cooperation between KFU and the subsidiary of PJSC Gazprom Neft – LLC Bazhen Technology Center took place at KFU. The document was signed by Danis Nourgaliev, Vice-Rector for Research at KFU, Director of Institute, and Kirill Strizhnev, General Director of Bazhen Technology Center LLC. Top managers of the company are among our guests. For example, at the beginning of this year we were visited by: the head of the department, Vadim Rybalchenko, the deputy chief of the department, Damir Khabibullin and Alexander Chernov, and the chief technologist of the department, Alexei Nikishin. As well as Rafael Kantyukov, Deputy General Director for Science of Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC (formerly Deputy Chief Engineer for Main Gas Pipeline Operation of Gazprom Transgaz Kazan), who was at the origins of the development and implementation of training programs for the company’s employees at the Center and Well-being. We are very pleased that PJSC Gazprom is among our customers as well as partners!”.

In addition, today the final stage of training under the continuing education program “Development and operation of oil and gas fields, methods for increasing oil recovery”, which was launched last week, took place. Employees of RN-BashNIPIneft LLC have successfully passed the final certification and will soon receive their certificates on advanced training of the established standard of Kazan Federal University. Note that according to the analysis of student satisfaction questionnaires, the program received 5 out of five points for all indicators.
