Employees of PJSC ALROSA are trained under the ArcGIS Desktop program at CdoGEO KFU
On June 5, at the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO) of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University, training began on the following advanced training programs: “Geological modeling (advanced course)”, “Petroleum Engineering. Development and operation of oil and gas fields, methods of enhanced oil recovery” (professional retraining), “Actual problems of interaction between subjects of cadastral relations”, “Geodesy” (professional retraining), “Mine surveying”, “ArcGIS Desktop II: Tools and functionality” and “ArcGIS Desktop III: GIS workflows and analysis”.
The program participants are employees of ALROSA, Tatneft, TomskNIPIneft, Neftekhimproekt, Erendai Group Ural, LUKOIL, ZapSibNIIGG.
“It is the second time that ALROSA’s employees are being trained under the ArcGIS Desktop programs,” says Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director of IGPT for Marketing, Director of the Center for Advanced Trainig, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO). In 2022, we trained 42 people in ArcGIS Desktop I: Getting Started with GIS, ArcGIS Desktop II: Tools and Features, and ArcGIS Desktop III: GIS Workflows and Analysis. This year, a group of 23 people is being trained remotely. It is gratifying that new companies appear along with regular customers. Thus, we are working with FAA “ZapSibNIIGG” and LLC “Erendai Group Ural” for the first time. The rest of the enterprises send hundreds of their managers and specialists to us for training.”
