CdoGEO KFU enters the Egyptian market
On March 9, an online meeting with the Egyptian consulting company International Development and Management Group was held at the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO) of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of the Kazan Federal University. The negotiations were held between the general director of the company Wael Goda and Deputy Director for Marketing, Director of the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing Ildus Chukmarov and senior lecturer at the Department of Development and Operation of Hard-to-Recover Hydrocarbon Fields at IGPT Boris Platov.
The meeting was devoted to the implementation of additional professional education courses for students of universities of geological and oil and gas profile and companies in the oil and gas industry.
After signing a cooperation agreement, Egyptian students and employees of enterprises will be able to study at CdoGEO remotely (online) and get a retraining diploma or a certificate of advanced training of the established standard of KFU.
It should be noted that Vael Goda knows firsthand about CdoGEO. In April 2019, he visited KFU, where he got acquainted with the capabilities of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies, he visited laboratories and discussed joint educational projects with Ildus Chukmarov, who discussed the areas of student training and presented English-language programs of additional professional education.
“CdoGEO is successfully developing international cooperation exporting additional professional education of KFU and paving the way to international markets in the educational and research areas. We are expanding the map of cooperation with other countries: last year we entered Latvia and continued our cooperation with Cuba. This year, we have prepared two programs “Applied geophysics new technologies” and “Geophysical well logging method” for the University of Petroleum China and we are implementing refresher courses under the “Seismic facies analysis” program for specialists of JV VIETSOPETRO (Vietnam). Previously, we trained our students from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Cuba, Latvia, Iraq. We also trained students as part of the Russian departmental target program for training engineering personnel in China, France, Germany, Switzerland. We have implemented programs with the participation of international partners from the USA, Canada and the UAE,” said Ildus Chukmarov.
