On April 11, a meeting was held via videoconferencing between the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University and the China University of Petroleum (UPC). On April 3, at the Center for Advanced Training, Quality Management and Marketing (CdoGEO) of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University, training began on the following advanced training programs: “Open hole well logging data interpretation”, "Application of global navigation satellite systems (GLONASS/GPS) in geodesy, mapping and navigation”, “Lithofacial and formational analysis of oil and gas bearing strata”, “Lithofacies analysis of oil and gas bearing strata”. A face-to-face session was also opened under the professional retraining program “Geophysics: geophysical surveys of wells” and under the programs “Responsible head of blasting during perforating, blasting and other operations in oil, gas, water and other wells” and “Responsible manager of shooting operations at seismic prospecting”.
